KAB :
Hi Vicky. Why wrestling as opposed to judo,
kick boxing or some other combat sport ?
Vicky :
Wrestling is my dream, I was brought
up around it, I like the idea of kickboxing and Judo but it doesn’t seem
to have the same passion effect as I feel about wrestling.
KAB :
When did you first start developing
a passion in wrestling?
Vicky :
When I was at least 5 or 6 years old
my uncle and my brother got me into it. The first wrestler I ever saw on
TV was Bret Hart and from then I was hooked, I guess I have just grown
up with it.
KAB :
How did you go about getting
involved ?
Vicky :
I began to search the internet for a
training school in my area, I found one place called LPW, Leicester
Professional Wrestling and the guy I spoke to on the phone referred me
to Wrestle Leicester which is where I am now, so it was just a little
bit of internet research really.
KAB :
What made you decide to take the
leap and have a go ?
Vicky :
I had been thinking about it for a
while, but was always too scared to do it, then I began to think about
it More and I realized that you only live once, and this is what I want
to do, so I forgot about fear and took the first step on the path to my
dreams.
KAB :
What were the fears you had
about getting involved in wrestling ?
Vicky :
Just embarrassing myself in font of
people, but I know I have nothing to worry about now, as the people at
Wrestle Leicester are so nice and encourage me all the time.
KAB :
Do you intend to make it a
full time career?
Vicky :
Yes I do, I hope to make it
my full time job, it’s a lot of hard work but it’s worth it

KAB :
How did your friends and family react
when you told them you wanted to be a wrestler ?
Vicky :
My friends want to join me ha-ha, my
family are being very supportive
KAB :
What wrestlers inspire you?
?
Vicky :
Inspirations would have to be John
Cena he always encourages people to “never back down never quit”. He was
a small town guy, who became the best thing in the WWE at present
through a lot of hard work, and I would like to follow in his footsteps.
KAB :
What has your training involved so
far ?
Vicky :
It has involved warm ups, basic
grapples and locks some mat work. We also have an appearance of Robbie
Brookside every fortnight; he’s a very successful UK wrestler, he takes
us through the ropes and makes us work hard.
KAB :
What was the first move you
were thought ?
Vicky :
How to lock up, that's a very
important part of wrestling believe it or not
KAB :
We believe you :) What’s your favourite move at the
moment ?
Vicky :
Hmmm, on TV it would have to be
stratus faction, that’s a very difficult move to learn. As
I've only learnt the basics so far my best move would be an arm lock. I would like to
learn the stratus faction in future though.
KAB :
You have to expect some knocks and
bruises in this business, does this concern you ?
Vicky :
Of course it concerns me, but it’s
the risk you have to take when following your dreams.
KAB :
Who do you consider to be the best
female wrestler in the UK ?
Vicky :
I can’t say I have one, I have
never really followed UK wrestling, but as I am getting into it now, I'd
have to say
“me

KAB : No shortage of
confidence there Victoria
Vicky :
That's true :)
KAB :
How do you rate UK female
wrestling compared to the USA ?
Vicky :
I think the female wrestling
scene in the UK is very low. From what I have noticed, America seems to
be blooming more.
KAB :
Who's your favourite American Divas ?
Vicky :
Trish stratus, Victoria, Ashley
Massaro and more recently Mickie James, all for their in ring
charisma and wrestling ability.
